Scuba

Jake and Emily completed their Open Water scuba certification in Fall of 2009, in preparation of their Honeymoon trip to the Cayman Islands, B.W.I.  After completing their certification on a cool, rainy, September weekend in a Missouri quarry, the Ocean scuba trips were an amazing and overwhelming experience.  On Little Cayman Island we took two dive trips to Bloody Bay Wall, diving at Cumbers Bay and Marilyn’s Cut.  On Grand Cayman Island, we also took two dives on a trip to the North Sound, diving Robert’s Wall and Pinnacle Reef.  After being a little nervous on the first dive, descending 80 ft on a reef wall that plummeted straight down below us another 20,000 feet, we got comfortable diving the deep blue ocean and thoroughly enjoyed scuba diving the Cayman Islands.  Being new scuba divers, we have spoiled ourselves, as the Cayman Islands are one of the top destinations in the world for scuba diving.
